The Denton Haunts Ghost Tour… is here!

Like most historic towns, Denton is haunted by stories of a forgotten past. Come tour this haunted history of Denton Square Spectres, and hear local legends about:

The three graves of John Denton, the ghosts of Texas outlaw Sam Bass and ‘Judas’ Jim Murphy, the Paschall Building’s Burning Banshees, Emily Fowler’s Lingering Librarian, “The Dude” haunting Brave Combo’s studio, the poltergeists of West Oak’s “Silk Stocking Row,” Denton beginnings of Clyde Barrow, The Pig-Man of the Bonnie Brae Bridges, the Theater Row murders, The Goatman’s Bridge of Old Denton County, KDNT’s perfumed Radio Center Socialite, The foggy finish of Blind Sheriff Hodges & Candy, The Pecan Creek Monster, Campus Theater‘s ghost, the wandering spirit of Flow Hospital’s Nurse Betty… along with the top haunts of UNT and TWU plus many more!!

Admission is $10 and not recommended for children younger than 10. The one-hour walking tour with Doc T meets on the East steps by the grave of John Denton on the Courthouse Square on Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm to depart at 7:30pm beginning October 14th. A FREE Premiere Rehearsal for local merchants, historians, and contributors will be Thursday October 13th at 7:30pm, with a post-walk sharing session at Jupiter House. See you there!
